Sd.kfz 166 Brummbär late
« on: December 04, 2017, 01:48:00 AM »
Hello Friends. ;)

I did not write anything for a long time because I first had to digest the shock with Photobucket. Such a mess.
But now it's time to move forward again. ;D

So as a stopgap between tidy up and finish I build something around the Brummbär.

Since the box has so nothing exciting I've opened the rear hatch to bring at least a few figures under.

maybe like this.....

or so....

or both times see what happens there.

After not much left over from the upper tub, the structure was glued with Stabilit.

The tower hatch was also refined. Looks bad. I'll build it again completely new.

Fan boxes re-installed and new chain guards laid.

The many voices in my head assure me that I am perfectly normal.

Best regards. . . . . . . Harry

The notorious threesome is back on the road.

Again cobbled together from all possible parts. Need to be waxed and repaired.

I think from the attitude you can leave her like this or?

Denn gut...!  Sie sind zurück!  Welcome back: your work is remarkably fine, so it is a pleasure to see new photos of your tanks and figures.

Will only install a lightning shot, but I'll keep my options open.

The Resinteil did not like me anyway.

So quickly a ne brass sleeve and an aluminum tube turned.

And installed. Look a little too far out.

A small walkaround of the attachments, some are still missing.

With underpan.

The next crap. I do not know how mans manages to get the same plastic tubs and metal tubs 1 cm different.

In terms of color, something has settled in me. Would actually be my favorite. Could you dare to do that?

If you do not have work, which ones ....

The Resinperiskop I did not like ..... new building.

And then the absolute treat, the lifting eyes made of copper wire.

But was worth it ....

New antenna.

The missing bug is balanced with poly.

And built a lock for the front. The is inserted only in the slot of the metal tray, already stirs nothing more front. At the back then 2 magnets will take over the hold.

Star antenna is also built together. A bit of wire and brass tubes.

As far as the current state. ;)

Thanks for your comments. ;D

The chain plates were broadened, was also seen in some Stug`s.

Why was not to learn but I think so that no rebounding explosives were directed through the side wall of the body and side skirts on the drive.

When IVer this space is covered with the Thomas aprons with mesh.

Underneath came the brass holders of the side skirts.

Then the brackets again made of brass so it is stable.

After the side rails were adjusted, they were glued on poly.

And tailored.

And done

Grown and screwed.

Tailored the aprons.

The hangers glued on.
I'm sticking with Humbrol liquid glue there's never been anything gone.

And the items.

And again a small walkaround.

Now only minor details like illuminated MG, reflector etc. are missing, but an end is foreseeable.
