RX18 and options
« on: August 22, 2012, 09:07:21 AM »
Hi guys,

I am helping a mate out with his KT.

His RX18 crapped itself.

Seems the RX18 ( standard controllers ) are a bit average.. Is the next step up an Elmod? huge price jump from RX18 to a full Elmod solution.

Any thoughts?

Other than SGS and ElMod which you can get from OZ Armour

you can get a cheaper option via the below link which is a revamped RX18 really...same sound etc but now 2.4g

Or just get another RX18 board they are cheap enough and believe it or not they are pretty reliable......when you get a good one  ;D ;D

And last but not least Tamiya DMD and MFU

oh almost forgot Clark TK-20 board if they ever arrive????

Thats correct The MAKO for IR Battleing with other brands of tanks and the RC2HL for changing to 2.4g

the main question I answered was the alterntives to the RX18

I just received a new MAKO and RC2HL today for my Taigen Tiger I and very happy but it still relies on the RX18 being stable  ;D ;D ;D
