Challenger 2
« on: October 18, 2017, 04:58:27 PM »
Got my self a CH2 last week.

Going to get a New Paint job, and the 'OKMO' Chobham Armor Add-on kit , is allready here from DKLM-RC. First I did was to get some of the Electronics wired for a Clark tk60 Board.

So first off a small video in this ( probably again ) slow build from me   ;D

Great vid Stian, nice engine sounds. Can you alter the sound setting so you don't get the silly shell casing discharge from the breech sound ?

Fantastic to finally see another Chally build, looking forward to following your build and thanks for sharing

Cheers

From 18 October to 12 December is not slow progress for what you are accomplishing, especially compared to my rate of work.  I too find the camouflage interesting.  Then, too, for what effect will you use the Tomato Catsup with sugar? ;) ;D

Some oil work before the x-mas dinner

Lay down the thin first layer before pigments and mud splatter

the turret is big and covers alot of the tank itself.

Now to blend in the turret oil weathering with the rest

With a few products you can add small 'speckles ' and add interest to the surface

I, too, have been quietly following this one, although right here, getting ideas all along.  Did you make the stencil yourself?
