Well got around to stripping it with oven cleaner and i new it was a bit ruff but the guy who built it done a really crap job, so its time to make strawberry jam out of shit :P
I took it for a sea trial to day and it went really good so im happy with that part just got to work on the cosmetics.

Wow that stuff does a great job stripping off the paint, must have been fiddly!

Looks like it will be equally fiddly to paint, lots of knooks and crannies, looking
forward to seeing this one.

I have finished after a crap load sanding, filling and fiddly painting but a good resto is as good as a build :o its not 100% but a hell of a lot better than i got it and should look good out on the water.

That is 200% better than when you first got the ship Chris.

Top job yet again. :) :)

Have you tested her floating since the rebuild?

I saw the first 4 pictures of the last update and thought Chris has gone nuts with weathering and bashing it about and going for the raised wreck look......still tanks in the bloodstream.
Then continued to scroll down and bugger me she is one smick looking vessel all neat and tidy with a beautiful finish.

Top job mate you gotta be chuffed with that!

Looking good Tankboy, she has that Costa Cordia/Titanic look to her in
a couple of those shots, ballast sorted boat sorted, so tell us more is
she a Brit, Yank or Aussie, how old is she, where did she serve etc.....

(Yeah, Yeah I know I could Google, thought I'd put the skipper to work!)
