My current tank "Collection" ... updated 21/11/17 ...
« on: July 24, 2016, 08:44:00 AM »
Hi Tank fans ...

Most of them are at the least metal upgraded, with one a few all plastic ones now and many that are more metal than the rest ( taigen ones are about 90% metal )

Great collection of tanks there.
I take it you like WW2 German armour the most?

You would be correct ... and this is about half of them ..

One of the guys in our club is mad on airbrushing ... all of these are his work

Then, after the work is done he starts getting twitchy for a new project ...

I like his work so much I usually buy it or swap it for something raw and off he goes again

I will put some of his own tanks up on here in the future

Most of our Club are too ... like most modern cars, most modern tanks look pretty similar to me

My 1:1 scale "Tank"s are 1967 - 1971 Yank Tanks & a Holden ... but they're not radio controlled ... better not post pics of them

I am taking pics of some of my other RC and scale bits at the moment ... more soon

Some of my RC tank collection .. ( 21/11/17 )
« Reply #13 on: November 21, 2017, 06:40:31 AM »
Hi Hobby Havoc fans

Here's some of my RC tanks.
Stug III A - conversion from Ebay, built by Vicarmour member Paul, who like many car guys I know, moved it on after owning it for a while to fund another project .. you will see .. I like his work.
M10 - a conversion I bought from Vandramodel, added to a metal up HL Sherman with additional metal suspension and roadwheels, built for me by VA member Steve
Firefly - Another simple conversion that I will finish ( Paul just added the 17pdr barrel) .. if I wanted any Sherman the Firefly is the go, eh ?
M26 ARV - a conversion bought from Frank Heritage in the UK and built by VA member Paul... love it
Early Tiger 1 - A HL "extra" metal up from the factory, with metal road wheels .. painted in 131 sand by Paul
Late Tiger 1 - Taigen "Raw" edition from TankArmy, painted by Paul ... probably the best camo I've ever seen him do ... it's all metal except for the upper hull
Jagdpanzer IV - Conversion from Ebay added to metal up HL PZIV F1 hull .. another of Pauls .. traded for $ toward the next project ...
PzIV F2 "Winter" - Bought as is from rectank.de ... the metal upgrades include Ostketten
"Battlefield enhancements" ... a collection of vehicles that are not RC but look cool as part of the battlefield
1/6 Marder III M - made by Chunwai ... soon to be painted and crewed by Dragon 1/6th scale figures
Last pic is of the "Tank yard" ... tanks available to members For Sale (please do not ask after them in comments here ) as well a s few kits ...

Some still to come ... 1/8 King Tiger ( Henschel ) currently being "activated" by VA member Sean, 1/16 Jagdtiger, King Tigers ( both Porsche & Henschel ), Panther G .
