Hi R/C tank fans

One of the 10 new contacts our Club got from the Club's display at the  Train and Hobby Show in March bought along one of his RC tanks to our April meeting

Here's John's Tiger 1.  It is a Fields of Armour vehicle in 1/6th scale

We were blown away ... so I thought we'd better share it around ...

A very nice model and being a new kit that's been re-engineered extensively for RC by Loic it is definitely worth consideration if your looking for a large scale tank. 8)

They are a great thing once they're done

I have seen one as a kit and they are certainly not for the faint-hearted ... with advanced scale modelling skills a must

From what John told us, he had to do plenty of additional work to ensure reliablilty

I know how he feels Gary,I've been working on a very old kit from 2005 and I am now finally making some dececent headway with it and the good thing about the modern kit is that loic "wants" the feed back good or bad so he can improve the kit. :)

If he hasn't done that in 12 years , he isn't trying very hard?

John sent a lot of feedback to the maker, so much of the feedback was taken well ... I will try to get some of the internal pics taken by the other guys and put them up too
