Done some more work with the Leo.
Used putty on the lower hull and painted it nato green.
Done som wiring for the RX18. Connected battery, motors and speaker.  Replaced the IR LED above the barrel.
Charged the battery, and did a test spin.  The RX18 is gone, only backwards on the left track. But the tank seems to move pretty nice. Think I will be happy with the blackcaped motor, reoadwheels and return rollers.

Remaining work to be done:
- New RX18 (have ordered one and waiting for it)
- finish the wiring for IR battle system
- wiring the power for turret rotation and barrel
- wiring for the front LED (lost one LED for the rear so skipping the rear LED's)
- find a solution for the chargeplug inside the drivers hatch

Been reading this tread about wiring: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_9283218/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm¨

Quote
HL Red = HE Purple
HL Black = HE Pink
they are for the main gun traverse
HL Blue = HE Gray
HL Yellow = HE Brown
HL Brown = HE White
HL Green = HE Light green

The only problem I have now is I cant move the turret. If I give the turrret motor power directly from the battery, it moves.  The RX18 has been tested in another tanks, and is working.  I have also tried another cable, same problem.
Any ideas what I can do?

Done some testing to day about the turret movements:

1. Tested all 3 transmitters/sender I've got against the working M26 -> Everything is working fine, including the turret movement.
2. Did a test wiring with a different receiverboard hooked up to the RX18, battery and turret motor.  Hooked the turret motor to pin 1 and 2 at CN9 connector. -> No movements of the turret motor.  Testet towards the Left and Right engine and I get the turret motor moving.
3. Have also tested 2 different RX18, and they both give the same result as for the turret motor. No movements of the motor.

Now I don't know what to check or do next.
Meassuring the voltage at pin 1 and 2 of the CN9, I get 4.6V without any load. Connecting the turret motor, the voltage drops to 0V.  Moving the transmitterstick for turret movement, I don't see any change in the voltage at pin 1 and 2.
I have also testet with 3 different 7.2V battery packages (that I know works fine in the M26).

I dont understand why I cannot make the turret move...?

You have the wrong end connected. The connection for the traverse is on the L/H side of the RX18.
Remove the wires from where they are on the RX and put them on the other end. Wink

Ok, the Leo works with all it's functions.  But it doesn't run smooth yet.  Maybe the tracks goes up in the upper hull when runing.  Need to check it closer and maybe lower the return rollers.
